About

The work is to remember who you already are.

A calm, relational practice rooted in depth psychology, gentle pacing, and the belief that clarity returns when we feel safe enough to listen inward.

"Doldrums of mind, lassitude in time"

Perspective shapes reality.

A reminder that prolonged mental stagnation gradually turns into psychological fatigue.

Healing isn't a destination — it's coming back to yourself.

Sanity is Divinity is built on a simple idea: somewhere beneath the noise of daily life is a calm, steady part of you that has always been there, even when life made it hard to feel.

Sessions are warm, unhurried, and confidential. There is no script, no one right way to begin. We work together at the pace of your nervous system, not your timeline.

Trained in integrative psychotherapy, with a foundation in psychodynamic, person-centered, and somatic approaches, the practice draws from whatever the moment asks for — sometimes language, sometimes silence, sometimes simply staying.

The person behind the practice

Meet Tharun Shiv

I am Tharun Shiv, a Counselling Psychologist, researcher, and founder of Sanity is Divinity. My approach combines evidence-based psychological practice with a deep understanding of human performance, resilience, and personal growth.

Before entering the field of psychology, I competed in road cycling, performed trials riding at the national level, and pursued Mixed Martial Arts. These experiences continue to inform my work in sports psychology, performance enhancement, motivation, and mental resilience.

My research interests include Repetitive Learning Exhaustion, which explores the psychological impact of prolonged repetitive learning and practice. I have also developed the Perspective Analysis Technique, an approach that helps individuals gain clarity by examining challenging situations through multiple perspectives.

My work is guided by a simple belief: Perspective shapes reality.
